Started from the ancient Greek,
We shock hands,
With admiration and praise,
For respect, for friendship, for love.
In these special days,
We no longer shake hands
With fear and fever,
Uncertainty and anxiety,
For social distancing
For safety, for hope, also for love.
Without handshaking,
We are still connected,
Internally, mentally, spiritually connected.
We shake invisibly, using love, using kindness and hope.
