My is life good sometimes. I’m in foster care and so is my little brother. This is my story. So, I was born on Valentines Day, 2006. I got put in foster care March 25, 2020. I am a very good person, sometimes. Kinda depends on the person. I am creative, positive, I don’t let other people down, they let me down. The day we got taken away, my mom lost it that day, she was mad, sad, and disappointed. My Dad was right there. He was mad, too. Right now, he’s in jail. He gets out on March 25th, 2021. My little brother lives at this placement in Chanute. I live in Wyandotte county, Kansas city, at this place called the Q.R.T.P. The staff here are really nice to me. Sometimes I break down and cry. It’s usually because I’m losing people in my family. Like my cousin, Mya, and my Papa. Other times it’s because I miss my family. But I am doing pretty well in school. And every Monday I get to talk to my mom. I get to ask her things like “How are you doing, mom?” and tell her things like “I love you, mom.” And I also ask about my dad, to get updates about how he’s doing. Outside of here, I walk my dog, Paulo. I love my life, sometimes. But I know that it was not my fault that I’m in foster care.
